MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny Rail Heavy-Duty Adapter (Canting): Developed for use on the M249 SAW, this adapter will take serious abuse. It features all steel construction and a double lug rail attachment. This ensures that the adapter will not become loose and detach. The adapter is semi-permanently attached by use of a hex key. The 621 will allow for cant tilt.
The quality of manufacturing is top notch, rugged beyond any other Bipods. The only thing I would do different to improve this great product is silver soldier joint instead of tig weld. Tig welding without adding filler metal undercuts the material and weakens it by reducing its cross section. A silver soldered joint would be cleaner looking and stronger.
I love the VERSA POD system! Each of my varmint rifles wears an adapter stud like this one. The short, medium and long bipods just snap on and off as needed. It's a great system.
Solid product. I feel Versa-pod makes the best bipod on the market.
