The 150-100 will mount onto the sling swivel. This adapter comes standard with many of the bipod models.

Do your bipods require two hands to adjust like other bipods?

No, all adjustments can be made without taking your finger off the trigger. All bipods may be easily flipped down into deployed position or flipped into the parallel position to the barrel using one hand. The clip-on bipods (i.e. 50 series, as well as models 923 and 925) are quickly removable with one hand as well.

What size bipod do you recommend?

The height of the bipod references the height from ground to the level of the barrel. Using an M16/M4/AR style weapon having a magazine, we recommend the 7”-9” bipod for a 20 round mag and the 9”-12” bipod for a 30 round mag. For bolt guns, it is based upon your preference for barrel height above the ground.

Do you make Picatinny Mount bipods?

Versa-Pod® offers a variety of adapters (for example: 603, 611, 630, 621, 622) for the standard bipods as well as bipods that mount directly to the Picatinny Rail (for example: Models 150-923 and 150-925 (quick release) lightweight bipods and MZ (bolt on) heavy-duty bipods).

Why do some of the bipods say Police or Military sales only?

Our legal advisors don’t feel it is wise to have our Raptor® Feet bipods spring loaded and available to the commercial market. We do offer this same product with Raptor® Feet, minus the spring loaded legs, see model 150-923.

I’m using a 0.338 Lapua Rifle, which bipod is good for this?

We recommend an all-steel bipod for any rifle sized 300 Win. mag and up. Any bipod that has a part number starting with 160-XXX or 168-XXX are all-steel construction bipods.

What are the advantages of using a bipod?

The best shooting platform is a sandbag; however, carrying a sandbag is not always an option, the bipod is an ideal lightweight alternative

How can a bipod improve my shooting?

A bipod makes the average shooter a much more stable shooter at a longer range. Using a bipod improves reproducibility in shots, typically allowing you to gain better accuracy (closeness to where you want to hit) and precision (multiple times of hitting the same location). If you are more accurate, you’ll use less ammunition trying to hit your target (a cost savings).

Also, not having to hold the rifle elevated for long periods of time allows for a more enjoyable shooting experience.

For those of you in combat or law enforcement – logic: using an effective bipod in a firefight, an accurate shot for you may mean the difference between life and death.

Do your bipods have any movement in them?

Most of our bipods have both panning (tracking) with 18 degrees of left-to-right movement, tilting (elevation) and canting (rotation clockwise or counterclockwise) for the rifle. Canting allows for aligning your rifle vertically when shooting on slightly uneven surfaces. Using our canting adapters, you can also tighten down the cant and pan knobs on the head of the bipod to manually stop any movement. This completely locks your bipod in place. We also have available non-canting adapters physically restrict the cant movement of the rifle. Whether you choose canting or non-canting adapters is your preference.

Several of our bipods, models 923 and 925, do not have the panning feature available, these are the direct mount to Picatinny Rail bipods.

Do your bipods fold up?

Our bipods fold forward and rear, depending on the direction you prefer. This is not typical of most bipods on the market.
